The Nebraska Spine Center has a long history of providing unmatched care to patients throughout the region. The practice began in 1963, and throughout our growth and expansion, our mission has always been to make a purposeful contribution to society by providing a center of excellence for our patients’ spine care. By focusing exclusively on spine care, we are able to integrate all aspects of care combining cutting edge technology, current educational information, and seamless movement across the total continuum of care.
Each Monday evening, our physicians and a multidisciplinary team of therapists and radiologists meet to discuss individual patient cases. This ensures that every diagnosis, every course of treatment is accurate and definitive.
In 1998, we established the
Nebraska Foundation for Spinal Research, a non-profit organization promoting break-through diagnosis and treatment endeavors. Since then, we have pioneered research that has led to developments such as artificial disc replacement surgery, and other non-surgical treatment options for patients with back pain.
In November of 2008, the physicians and staff of The Nebraska Spine Center moved to a new location just off of the West Dodge Expressway at 136th street. This new facility creates an environment that has been recognized as one of the top 15 spine centers in the nation: an environment that provides patients with the opportunity to get the very latest in diagnostic, imaging, therapeutic and treatment modalities all in one location. With services including seven fellowship trained orthopaedic spine surgeons, two physical medicine specialists, physical therapy and a bracing department, our total commitment to spine health is regionally unparalleled.
