THE HOSPITAL REVIEW  Names NSC as a top Spine Center 

Nebraska Spine Center, founded in 1979 and located in Omaha, is a specialized practice  dedicated to the management of work-related injuries, diseases and degenerative disorders, deformities, trauma, tumors and infections of the spine. Serving adults and children, NSC provides spinal care services, teaching and research. Its research foundation is currently conducting several investigations, including research into degenerative disc disease, exploring non-surgical approaches for lower back pain and observing the use of Optimesh graft in patients requiring spine fusion. NSC provides teaching to practicing orthopedic spinal surgeons and neurosurgeons from across the country and internationally, and helps train orthopedic surgery residents from the University of Nebraska Medical Center and Creighton University.

NSC offers comprehensive treatment for both children and adults.  Our specialities include work-related injuries, diseases and degenerative disorders, deformities, trauma, tumors and infections of the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine.

We teach practicing orthopaedic spinal surgeons and neurosurgeons from across the country and internationally the evaluation and treatment of surgical procedures, including: total disc replacement, minimal access spinal surgery, and computer-guided spinal surgery. 

We also help train orthopaedic surgery residents from UNMC and Creighton.

Our surgeons meet weekly to discuss serious cases, resulting in the best care possible for our patients.
